Bare Trees Card Instructions
Take a dark brown 3.75 x 5 inch piece of cardstock and
using low mount masking tape, tape LJ849 Bare Trees Stencil over the paper.
Tape the top and then both sides and lastly the bottom.
Take white embossing paste and spread with a palette knife over top of
stencil. Scrape excess off and put back in jar. Be careful not to scrape
more than 2 times in one place as the paste will start to seep under the
stencil. Remove bottom tape and side tape and hinge up the stencil holding
on to the paper. Pull away the stencil and take the tape off. Put stencil in
water immediately.
Take white glitter and sprinkle on bottom third of the embossing paste
image.
Shake off and return excess to jar. Then sprinkle top of embossing paste
with sky blue glitter. Again, return excess to jar. Let image dry.
Take a piece of clear acetate the same size as the brown cardstock. Tape
the LJ878 Snow Splatter Stencil over top as before. Stencil with white paste
and remove as before.
Sprinkle with white glitter and let dry.
Assemble card by placing acetate over top of tree image. Tie brown ribbon
around using a small amount of glue or tape to hold in place under ribbon. Assemble on blue mat and then on brown card.
